    Short version: We collect your email to log you in. We use Stripe for payments. We store your projects in our database. We never sell your data.
  

1. Who We Are

Plictor ("we," "us," "our") operates the Plictor Forge website builder at app.plictor.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Email address — provided when you sign in via magic link. Used for authentication only.
Project data — the HTML, CSS, and JS you create in the editor. Stored in our database so you can access it from any device.
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Stripe.
Usage data — basic server logs (timestamps, IP addresses, endpoints accessed) for security and debugging. Not sold or shared.

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your session
To save and retrieve your projects
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send transactional emails (magic link login, payment receipts via Stripe)
To respond to support requests if you contact us

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate Plictor:

Supabase — database and authentication. Your email and project data are stored here. Supabase Privacy Policy
Stripe — payment processing. All billing data is handled by Stripe. Stripe Privacy Policy
Anthropic Claude — AI generation feature. Prompts you submit are processed by Claude to generate HTML. Anthropic's data handling applies to these requests. Anthropic Privacy Policy
Netlify / Cloudflare — hosting and CDN. Standard server logs apply.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days. Payment records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your project data at any time (download HTML from the editor)
Opt out of any future marketing communications

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary for authentication (session tokens from Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

Plictor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
