Terms of Service

Short version: Use Plictor to build websites. You own the code you download. Don't abuse the service. Payments are non-refundable after 7 days. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Plictor Forge ("the Service") at app.plictor.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Plictor Forge is a web-based tool that allows users to select website templates, customize them using an editor and AI generation, and download the resulting HTML/CSS/JS code. Plictor does not host user websites.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@plictor.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Plans and Payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the stated rate until you cancel. Prices are in USD.

5. Refund Policy

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer refunds within 7 days of the initial purchase if the Service did not work as described. After 7 days, all charges are non-refundable. AI credit pack purchases are non-refundable once credits have been used.

To request a refund, email support@plictor.com with your account email and the reason.

6. Ownership of Downloaded Code

Code you download from Plictor Forge is yours. You may use it for any personal or commercial purpose, including client projects, without attribution. You may not resell Plictor templates themselves as standalone template products.

AI-generated content downloaded through the Service is also yours to use, subject to Anthropic's usage policies for AI-generated content.

You agree not to use Plictor to:

8. AI Generation

The AI generation feature uses Claude (Anthropic) to produce HTML based on your prompts. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before use. We do not guarantee that AI output will be error-free, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the Service at any time. We will communicate significant changes via email or in-app notification where possible.

10. Intellectual Property

Plictor, its logo, and the templates we create are our intellectual property. The editor software, AI prompting system, and platform infrastructure remain ours. You receive a license to use downloaded code as described in Section 6.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plictor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for claims eligible for small claims court.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
